Refund policy

1. Restocking & Handling Fee

For "Change of Mind" returns (where there is no technical fault with the device), a flat restocking fee of R500 (or 5% of the purchase price) will be deducted from your refund. This fee covers:

  • Professional technical inspection and diagnostic testing.
  • Data sanitization and factory resetting.
  • Administrative costs and non-refundable payment processing fees.

2. Condition for Returns

To be eligible for a refund, the iPhone must be returned in the exact condition it was received:

  • Original packaging must be intact.

 

  • All accessories (charging cables, etc.) must be included.
  • Find My iPhone (iCloud Lock) must be turned off. We cannot process a refund for a device that is still locked to a personal account.

3. Return Shipping & Risk

Under the ECT Act, the customer is responsible for the cost and risk of returning goods.

  • You must use a courier service with full insurance (e.g., The Courier Guy or Aramex).
  • TekEdge is not responsible for items lost or damaged during return transit.

4. Defective Goods (CPA Protection)

If the device has a genuine technical fault within the first 7 days, the R500 restocking fee will be waived, and we will provide a full refund or replacement once the fault is verified by our technicians.
